Since I’m not usually the crafty type, I’m pretty excited to share this blog post with you. I made a mobile for Little Bird! The concept just kind of popped into my head once I knew I wanted to incorporate paper cranes. I saw a bunch of paper crane mobiles on pinterest but none of them fit the bill for exactly what I wanted. Last night my Mom and I stopped by Michael’s and I found the other details to complete my mobile.
Materials:
paper cranes bought off etsy $9
small wreath from Michael’s $5
faux ferns from Michaels $4
wire
wire cutters
thread
needle
Assembly is pretty self explanatory. All I did was thread the cranes on long strings and tied those off in different lengths around the wreath. Then I secured the ferns atop the wreath and threaded the frame with wire to give it extra support and something to hang from. Super easy, affordable, colorful, and fits my nature/bird themed nursery.
