::Lauren & Matt: Jersey country wedding

Lauren and Matt got hitched! I didn’t think country-themed weddings were possible in New Jersey but I guess I didn’t know as much about the state as I thought. Corn fields, farms and old barns definitely exist here despite its proximity to the popular NYC. If there was ever a couple that fit the phrase “perfect for each other” it’s definitely these two. Both attended Houghton College, played soccer, had similar friend groups and classes… it was inevitable that they would fall in love and join as husband and wife in front of their teammates, friends and family. Lauren and I actually played soccer together at Houghton which made this wedding so much more special for me to capture since I was able to join right in the celebrating and had a great time catching up with the girls. Lauren was just the most stunning bride and their ceremony was sincere, heartfelt, and worshipful… definitely characteristics that fit this couple perfectly. While the entire wedding was amazing, my favorite moment of the night was when the gorgeous bride left her reception to sneak out into the foyer and say hello to Finley when he and John came to pick me up. You’re the best, Lauren, and I wish you and Matt a lifetime of happiness!
