::last time we were here::

A few photos from the last time we came to Maine in 2008. John and I were newly engaged but not yet married, a few more family members joined us including my Grandparents and Aunt and cousin, and we stayed in the harbor town of Machias that year. The past few days have been full of similar activities; we’ve toured Acadia National Park, walked along a couple shore lines looking for sea glass, enjoyed the large house we are renting by basking on the porch and lounging in the sitting rooms. We’ve been eating well and reading books, doing a bit of antique shopping and this afternoon we’re heading out on a kayak trip around the bay. Hope everyone else is having a wonderful week!
