Welcome to Emerald Street. My Father in law has been working on our house to remove the wallpaper and get started on some cosmetic projects while we were away on vacation (amazing, right?). My Mother in-law started on some cleaning and sister in-law even mowed our lawn for the first time. Feeling the love from our nearby family for sure! So thankful for their help. Things are slowly coming together and we’re almost ready to start painting in a few of the rooms. So today, Finley and I, with some help from Great Grandma Bird, went to Lowes and stocked up on some supplies for the house… mostly paint!
 I am NO expert on home interior stuff but we have had really great luck with the home interior paint from Lowes- Valspar. We even get the contractor grade (cheaper for supposedly not as nice quality paint) and we have LOVED it, it’s been the nicest paint we’ve purchased compared to a couple brands from Home Depot (Martha Stewart and Behr). I picked out many of the same colors we already used in our post office apartment, including the yellow and blue in the kitchen and dining room…but I picked out a few new colors too! Can’t wait to start painting and see how things come together. More photos soon!
Of course we had to stop into the local classic, Ace’s for lunch on our way back into town.
