Well, we tried to get Finley to go on his first little date. A play-date with Juniper was set up. We figured they could chill on a blanket together, he could ask for her number, you know, go from there. Things did not go as smoothly as the matchmaking mothers wished it would….
First, Junie started whimpering a bit. Maybe that scared Finley off because……he then started to whimper, and Junie started to cry, which turned into……cries from Finley! He finally got ahold of himself and collected his composure and then…Junie was in tears! Which totally just shattered the little guy’s ambitions and sent him into another round of crying…
 Phew! These were not staged, folks, that’s how it really happened on date one.
When we took them out on their first dinner date together we figured it would be good if they each had their own mama there for comfort which turned out to be an enjoyable evening for everyone!
We tried another play date on their last day together before Junie went home and while they were both still a little unsure of one another they finally conceded to their mama’s wishes.
