::baby boy or baby girl? part 1::

As many of you may remember, to document our first baby story we decided to have my good friend, Andrew Huth, come up and photograph some of the exciting events of my pregnancy. About 12 weeks ago (wow, time flies!) we had our ultrasound where we found out the sex of the baby. After slowly sharing with family and a few friends, we decided to go public with our news! Below are some photos from the day we found out. Instead of looking directly during the ultrasound, we had the doctor write the sex of the baby down on a piece of paper and seal it in an envelope. Then we went across the street to a local cafe and had a cup of coffee and opened the letter. While being able to see things on the ultrasound is fun, I would definitely recommend our “take away paper” method as it was pretty enjoyable to have a more private moment to ourselves in which to find out the news.

Stay tuned for Friday’s post in which I’ll be sharing what was on that little piece of paper!
