It might be because I know them. It might be because Andrew is a fellow photographer, mentor, and someone who I look up to in the field. It might be because the colors are warm, Heather’s smile is genuine, or because the moment captured was a fond memory for me. Whatever it is, personal feelings, composition, technical characteristics- this is one of my most favorite images that I’ve ever taken, probably because it’s of two people I call friends.
